Centura Corporation is the authorized partner of Polytec GmbH (Germany) for NIR Process Analytics for USA and Australia, delivering online and offline NIR spectroscopy measurement.
Quality measurement that arrives in time to act on
Polytec near-infrared spectrometers can measure directly in the process with or without product contact. The parameter values are returned from a single measurement in under a second, with no sampling, no reagents and no waste. Moisture, fat, oil, protein, starch, ash, sugar and salt are some of the many parameters that can be measured.
The result is control during the run rather than after it: less variation around target, fewer rejects, and tighter adherence to specification.

PCS -Compact Spectrometer
Single-point inline measurement. 950–1700 nm, more than 40 scans per second, IP66, Ethernet/OPC/Modbus. The economical choice where one point is enough.
PAS -Advanced Spectrometer System
Modular system supporting up to six probes on one spectrometer. Two spectral ranges, contact and non-contact probes, ATEX and IECEx options, PLC integration.
Both use fiber optic coupled probes with sapphire-window process flanges, so the measuring head can be removed without interrupting production.

A measurement is only useful if it is analysed, visualized and interpreted.
An inline NIR system produces a reading every fraction of a second, continuously, for years.
NIR measured values can be reported through the Centura22-MES, which can visualize the data. Furthermore, ChatPlant and other Centura22 modules such as Centura22-FMS can access Centura22-MES data interpretation.
